The foundations of CHILD can be traced back to 2015 when Alex Stjernfeldt (Novarupta, Grand Cadaver, Let Them Hang, ex-The Moth Gatherer, ex-Mr. Death) and his longtime friend Albin Sköld (Aardena) wanted to create something new and extreme. In 2018 they were joined by Joakim Lindström (Mr.Death/The Grifted) and performed their first show in Stockholm. Between 2018 and 2021 their creativity peaked as they rehearsed and began writing new music. Staffan Persson (Let Them Hang) and Per Stålberg (Division Of Laura Lee, Pablo Matisse) joined the band shortly after. Being a full band, CHILD entered Welfare Sounds later the same year and started recording their debut album.

Be prepared for an overwhelming sonic experience full of sonic twists and grinding turns as well as “the Black Album of grindcore”.
